The Holidays Are For Supporting Our Neighbors
The holidays are a time for love and celebration, but many of our neighbors have been financially burdened by COVID-19’s impact. Appletree Storage is collecting donations at our three locations to support The Salvation Army and the efforts of its Rescue Christmas programs. That money is then spent in our communities to provide relief to our neighbors who need it. Make a difference this holiday season. How to Help During the Holidays
The Salvation Army will use your donation to provide help for families in your community. So when you donate at our Baton Rouge, Gonzales, or Lafayette facilities, The Salvation Army will put that money toward local projects. For the Rescue Christmas initiative, donations provide assistance for buying groceries, paying bills, and more. They help local homeless shelters and make sure kids have presents to open on Christmas morning. You will see fewer red kettles out in front of shops this year. This is going to negatively impact The Salvation army’s efforts as much of their holiday funding comes from this program. That is why we need your help. The Salvation Army is anticipating up to 155% more people needing its services this year. Those people are our neighbors, family, and friends, and we at Appletree Self Storage want to do our part.
