Watch this quick video guide for a general idea of our storage unit sizes:
Renting a storage unit can be tricky the first few times. How do you know what size will fit everything you need to store? Appletree Storage created this size guide to help with just that. Whether you are looking for a large or small storage unit, we can find you the right one.
Small Storage Units
About the size of a closet, small storage units can fit all the basic parts of a bedroom. This includes a mattress, two or three other pieces of furniture, and boxes of clothing and miscellaneous items. The smallest option, 5×5, can fit only up to a full size mattress. Be sure to check the measurements of your items before attempting to store them in a small storage unit.
Medium Storage Units
Medium storage units, on the other hand, do not have a lot of restrictions. They can hold appliances, business inventory, and even large instruments. These are the ideal sizes for storing apartment or condo contents during a move.
Large Storage Units
Large storage units can store the contents of your entire home if you are moving. These can hold all of your large items and still leave some space to navigate through the storage unit. Your patio, living room, and dining room furniture will all be kept safe until you are ready to unpack. And if you are looking for storage for an extra vehicle, large storage units hold cars, trucks, small boats, and trailers.
